As a former primary school teacher and educational consultant, I am always happy to visit schools and use my teaching experience to promote poetry. I can lead assemblies and workshops and can tailor the content of the workshops based on current curriculum learning or simply deliver them as standalone sessions.

Workshops are delivered in groups no larger than a class size and children tend to work in pairs and then independently to create a group poem or poems on a group theme. I can vary timings of the KS1 and KS2 workshops, depending on the schedule for the day, and can offer rhythm and rhyme sessions for EYFS.

Full day: £325

Travel costs will also be charged at 45p per mile for schools more than 15 miles away from me.
